What a beautiful morning on campus for Grandparents (Aunts, Uncles and Special Friends) Day!
It was an absolute privilege to welcome so many into our ELC and Primary classrooms today. Seeing our students share their learning journeys with the people who inspire them is a wonderful reminder of what makes our school family so unique.
Whether our guests travelled from just around the corner or from further afield, their presence brought wonderful wisdom and joy to our learning spaces. Our students were absolutely thrilled to host proud classroom tours, showcase their hard work, and share their daily school life with the people they look up to most.
A sincere thank you to our special guests for making today such a memorable time for our students, and to our staff for making this event so warm and welcoming for all.

Our Years 2, 3, and 4 students are kicking off their soccer unit in PE by mastering the basics. The focus was all about ball handling, quick foot movement skills and spatial awareness on the field.
From learning how to keep the ball close with soft touches to navigating tricky gaps, our young athletes showed incredible concentration and coordination. Building these fundamental skills is the secret to becoming a great player, and applying their perseverance is the path to success in all things. It's great to see they are off to a flying start!

"Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some..." absolutely nail their Year 8 Shakespeare performances!
Our Year 8s tackled Shakespeare, bringing the house down with small-group snippets from a few of Shakespeare’s plays including Much Ado About Nothing to Twelfth Night. Well done to all the performers and the staff who guided them and organised this fantastic opportunity.

Today’s Primary Regional Cross Country Carnival has been postponed due to the wet weather. School Sport ACT made this decision very late this morning, and we apologise for the last-minute disruption!
Students should attend school as per normal today.
📅 What happens next? School Sport ACT is currently working on rescheduling the event. We they will advise us of the new date later this week, please note that we expect the rescheduled carnival to be next week at the earliest. However, we will share the official date with you as soon as we are notified.

Year 2 Cardboard Chariot Racing
With our Principal Mr Keast dropping the “starting flag”, the air was filled with cheers (and a bit of rattling cardboard!) as our young "charioteers" thundered around the hippodrome.
It wasn't just about speed; it was a celebration of:
Classical History: Bringing the Greek era to life through active play.
Innovation: Turning simple boxes into majestic vessels.
Community: Cheering on every classmate until they crossed the finish line.
"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."
At Covenant, we believe that a Classical Christian education should engage the heart, the mind, and sometimes, the running shoes.
Check out the highlights below!

💚⚡ HEAR THE THUNDER, LIVINGSTONE! 💚⚡
Our Green House is named after David Livingstone the missionary and pioneer. Known for traveling over 47,000 km during his 33 years in Africa exploring the continent and bringing the gospel to its uncharted areas. That's further than walking around the whole earth as the globe’s circumference is only 40,000km! During his travels Livingstone was the first European to see "The Smoke that Thunders" the mighty Victoria Falls.
Livingstone House will bring the "Thunder" to the Carnival! Whether in the water or cheering from the stands, show us that world-class Livingstone grit.
Drop a 💚 if you’re ready to roar for Livingstone!
