Calwell Primary School is located in the Tuggeranong Valley in Canberra’s south. Welcome to the official page of Calwell Primary School.

The school was opened in 1989 and is designed to accommodate up to 460 students. The school is located on a hillside setting with views to the Brindabella Mountains. We encourage contributions to the page. Please note the content is moderated. The page aims to highlight the achievements of our school, our teachers and students. 💯✨ 100 Days of Kindergarten! ✨💯

This week, Kindergarten students celebrated a very special milestone- 100 days of school! 🎉

There were plenty of smiles as we celebrated all the learning, friendships and wonderful memories made along the way. We are so proud of how much our students have grown in their first 100 days! 🌟

A huge thank you to Miss Santos, Ms Lozberis and our wonderful LSAs for the care and encouragement they give our students each day!

We can’t wait to see what you achieve after a whole year! Well done 👏🏼

Welcome back Calwell community! Term 3 starts tomorrow for all students preschool to year 6. This week we have breakfast club on Wednesday and Friday and are looking forward to getting back into routine after the break. Please note due to the 11 week term last term this Wednesday is an off preschool week.

Good afternoon everyone,

A reminder that our In School Discos are being held tomorrow. Junior (K-2) in Session 2, and Senior (3-6) in Session 3.

We have decided that rather than being for sale, glowsticks will be given out to all students, however we are very grateful for any and all gold coin donations to support the Year 6 Graduation and the hard work of our Student Leaders.

Don't forget the crazy socks; it's also Frozen Friday as normal tomorrow.
