I often get asked what Rocky's set up or 'house' looks like. While he has a fabulous tank, set up with all his heating, lights, plants, substrates etc.... he actually lives quite a full life... Outside his enclosure 🀣

He is interacted with daily! He is allowed outdoor time ( and has his own outdoor enclosure he and Deani take turns using).. but lately... Waking a tad early from his brumation... He enjoys his favourite indoor pot plant 🀣

Yes! He climbs up the side. Yes! He chooses to curl up like this and YES 🀣 He sleeps like this 🀣πŸ₯ΉπŸ˜

(Deani is still asleep/ in brumation. She pops her head out for a drink, but this is her first brumation so she is still working out what her body is doing)

The premiere screening of our new documentary On the Edge sold out weeks in advance... so we're pleased to announce that we're hosting a second screening on Wednesday the 8th of July at Palace Electric Cinema! πŸŽ₯

Get your tickets now before we sell out again: https://events.humanitix.com/2nd-screening-on-the-edge

After the screening, our Director, Simon Copland, will facilitate a panel discussion featuring the filmmaker, Trent Houssenloge, and interviewees , and to delve further into the question of sustainable development here in the ACT, what’s at stake, and how we can work together to enact change.

We hope to see you there!

2nd Screening: On the Edge 07/07/2026

πŸ’š I'd love to see you there!!
⌚️WED 8 JULY @ 6PM
Earlier this year, a group of fabulous Curious Kids and thier families helped bring a clip in the documentary: On the Edge, to life. They did this by allowing us to see first hand thier nature connection and curiosity. It was such a special experience, and now the documentary is being screened for a second time.

I'm also honoured to be joining the panel discussion after the film to talk about why helping children connect with nature is something I'm so passionate about through Curious Kids.

If you're free, please come along, watch this beautiful documentary, and support the conversation. 🎬🌿
