In 2012 this Master Beekeeper gave hives and bees to Canberra when the city needed pollinators and you all helped make that gift into Canberra Urban Honey. This same beekeeper has been burnt out THREE times by bushfires over the past 12 months. It’s been a joy to be in the honey room labelling the 2018 harvest and placing those gold labels on jars. Our bees have had plenty of honey to share with humans and we’ve restocked many of our sustainable city supporters (aka retailers) this past week.
