In Year 8 HASS students have been studying landscapes and landforms.
They have been observing our local landscape before analysing maps and data from different Australian landscape.
This week they used what they have learnt to build their own topographic maps with classroom materials.

Year 7 have been studying the secrets of King Tutankhamun's Tomb by a analysing sources through conversation.
They have been using the whiteboards to build on each other's knowledge and learning together.
This is the first part of a long adventure into the history of Ancient Egypt in Term 3.

This week, our AASHS students took part in the Girls Futsal Gala Day. It was a fantastic day of sport, with the girls securing a couple of wins against strong competition. Well done to everyone for your teamwork, determination and sportsmanship!

55 staff and students had the opportunity to witness the music of Hans Zimmer performer by the Can Etta Symphony Orchestra. We are so proud of our school community for displaying our values of kindness, inclusivity and curiosity throughout the day. What an incredible performance and experience for us to have been a part of.
