Year 8 HASS students explored Feudal Japan through the inquiry question: What role did Tokugawa play in feudal Japan?
Using historical sources, students practised identifying key information, taking notes, and paraphrasing in their own words. Through discussion and collaboration, they used this evidence to explain how Tokugawa influenced Japan and shaped life during the Edo period.
