Students return for Term 3 on Tuesday.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone.

Our EarlyACT students have had a focus on preparing to take local action this week and learning about the PYP 5 types of action.

We have a range of types of action taking place this week- including:
Participation- Promoting our school gardening club
Advocacy - Raising awareness of diabetes
Social justice- raising money for charities: Pikinini school and RSPCA
Lifestyle choices- pyjama/comfy clothes day for wellbeing (no cost)
Social entrepreneurship- Plastic-free lunch day

It is our last week of Term 2. We have a lot going on for Action Week.

Our preschool teachers are looking forward to meeting with parents during the week for interviews.

Term 3 will commence for students on Tuesday the 21st of July.

Congratulations to our year 5 student, Wyatt, for being selected and then participating in this amazing experience in collaboration with The Australian Ballet and Melba Copland Secondary School over the past week.

We are looking forward to meeting you this week to discuss your child's learning. It's a busy week with both senior and junior athletics carnivals as well as a senior assembly hosted by Year 3.

A reminder for Kinder to year 6 families we have parent teacher interviews happening next week, commencing on Monday 22 June. Bookings can be made via the parent portal before midnight on Sunday 21st June. After this time you will need to contact the front office to book in for any remaining time slots. Our teachers look forward to talking with you all next week!

We are so proud to have students representing Forrest as part of the ACT IMP Primary Concert Band. Congratulations to Marius, Aadhi, Oscar, Owen, Edward and Mingkai on their fabulous performance at the Winter Winds concert at Llewellyn Hall recently.

We are holding Parent Teacher Interviews in Week 10 (Monday 22 - Friday 26 June).
Bookings will open through the Parent Portal from 3pm today. More information about interviews will be in today's newsletter.
