Calling all curious young scientists! Join us for an action-packed hour of hands-on experiments designed for kids aged 7–10.
Over the hour, children will rotate through three exciting science stations:
⭐Pom Pom Launchers – Learn about physics by building your own launcher using simple craft supplies. Then test how far you can send your pom pom flying!
⭐Strawberry DNA Extraction – Discover the building blocks of life by extracting real DNA from strawberries.
⭐Chromatography Flowers – Reveal the hidden components of colour and the secrets of solubility while creating beautiful bouquets.

Located at the southern end of the Canberra Centre, we will be running 3 of these hour-long workshops:
⭐10–11am
⭐12–1pm
⭐2–3pm
To participate in this free event, either sign up via the Eventbrite link in the description, or show up on the day.
However, spots are limited, so sign up in advance if you want a guaranteed place.
