St Monica's Primary School Evatt

Yesterday students from years 3-6 attended the Sullivan Shield League Gala Day. They were shining stars and showcased their talent, skills and most of all sportsmanship!!! A huge thanks to Leon (Connor’s dad) & Andrew (Jamie’s dad) for giving up their time to coach two of the teams. We also thank Ben for coaching the third team. We may be seeing some of these superstars in a future Origin Series…..

We had an amazing bake sale to help raise funds for Mrs Harris and the Vinnies CEO SLEEPOUT.

Thank you so much to everyone who baked and helped on the day.

We were able to raise $950 to support Mrs Harris.

Over the past week or so, St Monica's demonstrated the importance of being 'All In' for Reconciliation. We began acknowledging Sorry Day and Reconciliation Week with a thought-provoking liturgy by 5W and continued with a number of in-class activities and learning about key historic events. On Friday, our school was a sea of yellow as we raised money for the Indigenous organisation, Children’s Ground!

Our 2026 Athletics Carnival was a great day and the weather was absolutely gorgeous. A wonderful time was had by all. A massive thank you to Mrs Barrett for her organisation of our carnival. We would also like to thank Merici College and their students for hosting us on the day and assisting us with our carnival.
