This week our Stingray and Turtle classes went on their first excursion.
We enjoyed a ride on the bus, had a play with our SJV buddies and ate lunch together. We met Healthy Harold and talked about making healthy choices, we also read a story about different feelings and recognising them on people’s faces.
“Healthy Harold’s favourite foods are bananas and carrots because they are healthy fruits and vegetables.”
“We read a book about Healthy Harold going to a new school. He was shy but then he made friends.”

On Friday the Lobster class investigated places and jobs in our local community. The children visited the Post Office to collect stamps and post their Grandparents Day letters. Then we enjoyed some delicous treats at a local Cafe. Thank you to all the kind people who stopped to teach the children about their role in our community.
