The Humanities Research Centre, established in 1972, is a research hub promoting innovative and interdisciplinary scholarship within the ANU and beyond.

The Humanities Research Centre (HRC) was established in 1972 as one of Australia’s prime gateways to humanities scholarship throughout the world. The HRC promotes advanced, interdisciplinary research in and across the humanities through an annual Visiting Fellowship Program and a range of conferences, workshops, seminars, and symposia, each of which is supported and hosted under an annual theme.
