Hello there, every body.
This post of a wizard I got for $1 from the Green Shed in Canberra is designed to gauge how far the ‘reach’ of this Page goes; look at algoritmics, and so on.

I am doing a cull of social media channels at present; sort of finding which channels work for which sides of the craft that is Physical Alchemy. If you can see this post and feel inclined to, please comment or ‘like’ or whatever; even leave a message of what you would like to see more here.

The main bulk of my work on Facebook is actually in the private Physical Alchemy group, not here. Secondarily is the ‘Dave Wardman’ Page, which I am going to be more active on - and use as a sort of visual diary of a number of projects I am working on. The group has a specific purpose and this page may be better suited for class and practicuum related materia.

[🔥⚗️🍀] 'The 3 Phase Repatterning Stretching Cycle' [Class Essay II]
Here is the second of the series of essays I am publishing, mainly to help students in seamlessly transitioning into the praxis of the repatterning stretching class I am teaching now in Canberra.
Teaching classes in physical reality is much more satisfying, potent and enjoyable than posting things on the internet or doing video teaching. This being said, having some theorum to lead into practicum can be very useful.

[💡] 'An Introduction to Repatterning Stretching'
This new essay functions as a brief introduction to the class I am now teaching at the ANU Sport & Rec centre in Canberra. It covers material from the period of my first ~12 years of studies, viewed in reverse and flavoured a bit by the next ~12 years of study and praxis.
In includes: some base principles; lore; aphorisms and heuristics to help orient someone to this way of stretching. The next few essays for class will be more 'applied practicum'.

[🔥⚗️🍀] Physical Alchemy 'Long Class' Sydney, Sunday February 19th, 2023, 4pm - 7pm, @ 'The Bo Fig', Balgowlah. [$75 for the class].

Next Sunday I am running the first of the Physical Alchemy monthly Long Classes for this year. I will be running them every 3rd Sunday of the month [other than April, when I will be teaching at the Ancestral Movement retreat - more on that later].

These are private classes - so please message me beforehand to secure a place. The location is the wonderful 'Bo Fig' fine Persian Carpet merchant storefront, in Balgowlah. There should be parking available in the streets a few blocks from the shops. It's a beautiful spot, near Manly beach - so you might consider having dinner and a walk along the seaside as a decompression after class.

'Physical Alchemy' Long Class means it will feature any material from the Repatterning Stretching, Alchemical Stretching, Embodied Paradox and Reenchantment syllabuses that fits with the group of individuals that presents on any given day.

[🔥⚗️🍀] Physical Alchemy 'Alchemical Stretching' Workshop, Canberra, August 2022.



Yes! Your eyes do not deceive you. I am finally starting back up teaching physical classes and workshops in Canberratown. The versatile and dynamic Soisci Porchetta [🐆] is hosting me to present a workshop on Alchemical Stretching [and precursory and preparatory work leading into this material] at the tail-end of August, in a little over a months time. It will be held at one of the premier movement and physical studios in Canberra, the mighty Praxis.

The workshop will focus on the postures I most frequently use in the Alchemical Stretching classes; how to progress these postures from solo to Body Tessellation level postures; how to integrate these with your other physical training, personal practice and creative work; how postures move from standard repatterning dialing into alchemical postures; how cuisine evokes or nullifies transmutational factors; why these postures have been selected; alternatives; and much more!

There will be some time for discussion on the reenchantment paradigm; which is essential to the practice of Alchemical Stretching as distinct from repatterning stretching and other forms of physical practice - and upon Physical Alchemy more generally [Alchemical Stretching being something akin to the tip of the iceberg].

In the interest of keeping things as practical as possible, I might field any deeper questions upon my craft in neo-Symposium style at a restaurant or tavern post-workshop.
