Dear Families

Now is the time to donate to our Winter Woolies Clothing Drive. Please help our school assist those in need in our community and local area. Every GS student is asked to please donate one item of warm clothing to our St Vincent de Paul Annual Winter Appeal.

Our First Nations students and some friends attended a Corroboree and Culture Day at UC Oval, with lots of First Nations students from schools across the ACT and surrounding area. We had a great day with the students enthusiastically participating in all the activities.
Cultural activities included
▪ Decorating Boomerangs
▪ Weaving Workshop by Culture on the Move
▪ Dance with Wiradjuri Echoes
▪ Spear Throwing with Ginninderry Conservation Trust

Mrs Church, Mrs Thornton and Mrs Unwin are very proud of all the students as they represented Good Shepherd so beautifully on the day.
