Today we are launching our Connections to Care End of Financial Year Appeal.
Every day, people contact Careline looking for compassion, prayer, Scripture, hope and someone who will simply listen. Behind every call is a person who needs to know they are not alone.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 to equip 40 new volunteers with the technology they need to answer those calls safely and effectively. It costs around $500 to equip one volunteer, but every gift, no matter the size, will help us move closer to our goal.

Designed for qualified counsellors, this four-week live online course will build the confidence and clinical grounding needed to provide calm, ethical and trauma-informed support after a critical incident.

Led by industry expert Julie Nixon, the course covers psychological first aid, safety and stabilisation, grounding strategies, risk awareness, group response, referral pathways and responder care.

Ideal for counsellors supporting individuals, workplaces, schools, churches, ministries or communities after a traumatic event, it offers a practical and professionally grounded framework for response.
