• Involve them in small choices, like picking an outfit or helping set up a space
• Spend one-on-one time together, even in short, everyday moments
• Keep familiar routines where possible
• Let big feelings be okay — excitement, worry, and jealousy can all exist together

Every family finds their own rhythm. With time, reassurance, and connection, children grow into their new role in ways that often surprise us.

There’s no rush. No “right” way. Just gentle guidance, patience, and space for connection to unfold, because becoming a sibling is a journey too. 💛

And that’s my “baby” graduating primary school – when I bought the business 10 years ago she was not yet two years old and many of you may recall was by my side every single day every single class. All three of my girls have grown up with GymbaROO Canberra woven into their lives, and I will forever be thankful that I ran a business where my children could be a part of every up and every down. It has shaped them into the resilient, hard-working, dedicated and upstanding citizens they are today.
