Today, we celebrate Principals Day and we are giving a big shout-out to Mr Garton! He is the person who somehow manages to juggle a million things at once and still remembers everyone’s names! He solves before most of us even know they exist, and still has time to greet our students with a smile!

Thank you for your leadership, your sense of humour, your great music taste and your endless support, even on the days when it feels like organised chaos! 😉).

If you were lucky enough to experience the STA Dance Concert today then you would be aware of just how amazing these two incredibly people are. A massive thank you to Arts teacher Mrs Calipari for all her hard work pulling everything together in order to showcase our students groovy dance moves and with the assistance of Miss Ford the party really it hit STA with always favourite staff dance! 🖤💛❤️ Celebrating NAIDOC Week ❤️💛🖤

Last week, a group of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students attended the annual NAIDOC Week Mass at St Christopher’s Cathedral with Mrs Sippel, joining students and staff from Catholic schools across the Archdiocese.

The Mass was a beautiful celebration of faith, culture and community, beginning with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony. Our students had the honour of participating in the liturgy by confidently proclaiming the Scripture readings, demonstrating reverence, courage and pride as they contributed to this special celebration.

It was a meaningful opportunity to honour the rich histories, cultures and contributions of Australia’s First Nations peoples, while reflecting together as a Catholic community on this year’s NAIDOC Week theme.

We are incredibly proud of our students for representing our school with such confidence and respect. Thank you to Mrs Sippel for accompanying and supporting our students throughout this special occasion. 🖤💛❤️

What an amazing day for our selected few students who were invited to participate in the PSSA Cross Country today. We are delighted that we have had numerous reports of how supportive, kind and respectful all our students were towards each other and those from our schools. We are very proud of these students and the way they upheld our school values and represented STA.

On top of this, STA came away with fantastic results across all ages.

Congratulations to all involved and a special thank you to Miss Pigram, Mrs Sippel and Miss Ahern for supporting our STA Athletes.
