What an amazing day for our selected few students who were invited to participate in the PSSA Cross Country today. We are delighted that we have had numerous reports of how supportive, kind and respectful all our students were towards each other and those from our schools. We are very proud of these students and the way they upheld our school values and represented STA.

On top of this, STA came away with fantastic results across all ages.

Congratulations to all involved and a special thank you to Miss Pigram, Mrs Sippel and Miss Ahern for supporting our STA Athletes.

Congratulations to our wonderful Year 3 teacher Miss Cassidy on her University Graduation today. We are sure our school community will join us in celebrating what a dedicated, engaging and passionate teacher Miss Cassidy has developed into throughout her time at STA. We are super proud of Miss Cassidy and are very excited to see what the future holds and for the students and families that have the pleasure of having her guide them through their primary school journey.

Congratulations to Miss Hudson, Mrs Cleaves and Anit from the STA ELC on their commissioning as new Catholic School Teachers in our system. They all received a gift and blessing at a special mass at St Christopher’s Cathedral on Thursday, surrounded by other new teachers and Catholic Education staff.

Please join us in congratulating and wishing them all well as they help shape future generations.

This week's Athletics Carnival was a huge hit! The sun was shining and the smiles were big. The exhaustion set in for teachers, staff and parent helpers towards the end but everyone had an amazing time and it would not happen without the families that were willing to help on the day, the superhero teachers, staff and the amazing volunteer helpers from SFX.

Term 2 is so close......but please remember students return on Tuesday not Monday! Enjoy the last day of holidays!

After a very long "I'm bored" holiday, the kids are heading back to school and parents everywhere are quietly celebrating with a hot coffee...in silence!

Here's to fresh rountines, packed lunches that may or may not get eaten, and the return of "What did you do today?" "Nothing"
