What a weekend.

A huge thank you to Canberra Dance Collective for another incredible competition, and to the wonderful adjudicators Jason Law Tania-Attard-O’Dwyer for your encouragement and valuable feedback throughout the weekend.

A massive thank you also to Canberra Dancewear for our beautiful costumes, and to our amazing teaching team Amy Agustin Alessia Zedde Georgia Evans rach wink Keira Larkham Lucy .Your passion and dedication make weekends like this possible.

A special mention to Maria and Kaily, who both stepped up after a team mate sadly was too unwell to compete.

Maria was undoubtedly our MVP, learning multiple solo moments at the last minute and jumping into whatever was needed. Kaily also stepped up without hesitation, taking on extra choreography and an important solo moment. We are so proud of you both.

Another shout out to our 14/U and Senior troupes, who arrived early to completely re-space routines after the last-minute changes. You handled it like absolute professionals.

Our Kindness & Inclusion Award was shared with DANCE EDGE SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS | CANBERRA and honestly, no amount of first places could ever compare to receiving this. It means the world because it reflects the culture we strive to create every day.

To top it all off, our Senior Troupes achieved a clean sweep, winning 1st place in every Senior section we entered!!!!

UP THE MILK!

We had the BEST time performing at half-time of the Canberra Raiders NRLW game yesterday!

The weather was amazing, the crowd was incredible, and it made it even more special to be part of Women in League Round. We are so proud of these legends for getting out there, giving it everything and representing ELITE so beautifully.

A huge thank you to the Canberra Raiders for having us. What an awesome experience for our dancers!

So incredibly proud of these three beautiful girls!

They’ve spent the week working with NXTGEN Project and tonight they got to perform in an incredible showcase. Watching them throw themselves into every opportunity, learn from industry professionals and step on stage with so much confidence makes us so proud.

These opportunities are what it’s all about, and seeing our dancers grow both on and off the stage is the best part.

A huge thank you to NXTGEN Project for creating opportunities like this for young Canberra dancers. Programs like these are so valuable, and we’re grateful our girls got to be part of it.

Last night we said goodbye to Miss .

We honestly can’t thank her enough for everything she’s given ELITE over the last 6 months. The love, care and dedication she’s shown every single student hasn’t gone unnoticed. Not only has she been an amazing teacher, but also a dance mum, and having her support our studio has meant so much.

We’re going to miss seeing you (and smiley little Miss Annie) around the studio every week.

We wish you nothing but the best for this next chapter. Just remember… once you’re part of the ELITE family, you’re stuck with us for life.

So proud of these dancers!

They absolutely smashed their mock ballet exam yesterday with Miss Alessia Zedde .

At Elite, we don’t follow a syllabus exam program, but our ballet classes are structured to give dancers the strong technique and foundations they need to support every other style they learn.

This mock exam was a fun way to see how they’re progressing and how they’re applying everything they’ve been working on. It included both a practical and written component, and they all did an amazing job.

Congratulations, beautiful humans. Keep working hard — we’re so proud of you!
