How were we to know that Majura community had an unmet need to dress in the greatest, brightest, most ridiculous ’80s attire? 📼✨

There were enough shoulder pads, mullets, parachute pants and neon spandex to make Molly Meldrum proud. The synthetic fibre count was such that Mel could use it as a learning opportunity for her sustainability classes.

Trivia Night 2026 did not disappoint. It was totally rad, bodacious and—dare we say—choice. 🎸

We hope all attendees are fully recovered and the hairspray has washed out.

Thanks for bringing the ’80s back, Majura. You were Simply The Best (better than all the rest) ♥️💙

Students have been beautiful potting up the chillis and last weekend our volunteers potted up 48 pots of leek.

Volunteering for the Kitchen Garden Sale is on again this week! 🫑🍅🧑‍🍳🫛🍓🥒🍯

⭐🌱🌱🌱 On Thursdays and Sundays we need volunteers in the garden. Next Sunday 30th we have a big session planned. We need volunteers to transplant our lovely capsicum and chilli seedlings and plant tomato seeds.🌱🌱🌱

Students are doing a fabulous job in classes but we need some more hands (green thumbs not necessary) to prepare for the inner North's BEST garden and preserves sale! 💚💚💚

⭐🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳 On Wednesdays from Week 7 we have Kitchen volunteers after school in the kitchen with Siobhan, cooking up a storm of delish preserves, chutneys and jams.. 🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳
