LillyPilly Monash has been open for a couple of months now, and we couldn’t let the moment pass without saying a huge thank you to the incredible people, and businesses who helped bring our centre to life. ✨

It takes a lot of talented people to turn a vision into a space, and we’re so grateful for the skill, hard work and care that went into every detail. 📏

It’s been a busy few weeks at Monash 💛 Settling in, making new friendships, sharing lots of smiles, and learning and growing together every day. 🌱✨

We’ve also loved welcoming new families through our open afternoons and sharing our beautiful service with the community. 🧡💛🩷❤️

Last Friday it was Employee Appreciation Day, and to celebrate we organised a sweet treat for our educators! 🧁 Thanks again to our amazing team. And thank you to local baking extraordinaire .and.frost for the gorgeous cupcakes! ✨

Some of this crew have been here since day 1 at Gordon - and the team just keeps getting stronger!! ✨

As part of our Food for Thought Program, the children have been busy following simple recipes and creating their own delicious creations. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

We explored measuring and counting 🔢🥣, strengthened fine motor skills using kitchen tools and worked together as a team. 🍕🍌

There were lots of smiles, rich conversations and even a few little hands covering ears when the blender got a bit noisy! 🥤🙉

Real life learning at its best, engaging, meaningful and memorable. ❤️
