UCHS Kaleen took a group of 13 Year 9/10 girls to the NSW 9s Country Cup in Week 2. The girls impressed with the efforts and behaviours as they played some tough footy against some very strong teams from country NSW and Sydney. While the results didn’t go their way and there were a few sore heads and bodies the day after, it was a positive experience for them all.

The girls engaged in a YOUi Scrum Community seminar about mental health talk, led by Alan Tongue. They also had a photo with the Provan-Summons Trophy (NRL Premiership trophy) and the NRL Women’s Premiership Trophy- perhaps there’s a few NRLW stars in the making pictured.

Well done to our Year 9/10 girls rugby league team. They should be proud of how they represented the school and themselves.

Wear Your Colours Tomorrow to Support the Socceroos!

To celebrate the spirit of sport and get behind the Socceroos, we're inviting all students and staff to come dressed in their favourite footy jersey, Socceroos colours, or green and gold tomorrow -- Friday 26 June!

Whether it's rugby league, AFL, soccer, rugby union, or simply showing your Australian colours, we'd love to see UCHSK filled with team spirit.

Please make sure outfits remain school appropriate and safe for learning activities throughout the day.

Looking forward to seeing everyone get involved and bring some colour and energy to school!

🥾🌿 Year 9/10 Outdoor Education Bushwalking Camp – Blue Mountains 🌿🥾

Our Outdoor Education students are having an amazing time exploring the spectacular Blue Mountains!

Over the past two days, students have tackled the iconic Wentworth Falls Walking Track, explored the Echo Point Walking Track, and conquered the famous Giant Stairway – descending more than 900 steep steps into the Jamison valley below. Their resilience, teamwork and positive attitude have been outstanding.

This morning, the weather gave us a brief glimpse of the breathtaking Three Sisters before the clouds rolled in. Unfortunately, our ride on the Scenic Skyway offered views of what the tour guide jokingly called the "World Heritage Clouds" rather than the usual stunning scenery!

After a big day on the trails, tonight's reward is a trip to the movies to watch Supergirl.

We're incredibly proud of the way our students have embraced every challenge, supported one another, and made the most of this fantastic outdoor learning experience. 👏🏕️💙
