Happy Africa Day 🎉🎉to all the African community in Australia 🇦🇺specially our Zimbabwean 🇿🇼family at Papilio Early Learning Barton. Chef Eliza 👩‍🍳 made a traditional curry to honour their rich cuisine. 🍛

"In our Preschool/Kindergarten group, learning often begins with a question.

Recently, children noticed a lots of dry fallen leaves in the garden, which sparked weeks of curiosity about weather change and the transformative beauty of trees in Autumn🍂

We observed. We drew. We predicted what might happen next. 🌿

Enquiry-based learning means we follow children’s genuine questions and build experiences around their curiosity. 🥬

Sometimes predictions are wrong. Sometimes we need to adjust our thinking. That’s part of the process. 🌻

This approach builds critical thinking, resilience and a love of learning, all essential foundations for school and beyond. 🌈"
