The Bangla School hosted a stall at the Boishakhi Mela (বৈশাখী মেলা), organized by the Bangladesh Australia Association Canberra (BAAC), on April 18 2026, showcasing a diverse range of activities and providing information to attendees. The stall, decorated by teachers, featured students' works, models, and interactive activities, including art and coloring sessions, bangla writing etc. that effectively engaged participants across various age groups. Children of different ages participated enthusiastically in the activities and received tokens of appreciation for their creative efforts.

On 29th November, 2025, Bangla School participated in the ACT Community Language Schools Annual Dinner, where a group of students performed a song, “ক এ কলা খ এ খাই”.

Bangla School celebrated Victory Day 'বিজয় দিবস' of Bangladesh 2025 on December 6 within the school premises, where students engaged in various thematic activities. The program concluded with a communal sharing of food and the creation of joyful memories among students, parents, and teachers towards the year's end.

Bangla School celebrated Open Day on 1 November 2025 at Crace recreational park. There was free BBQ arranged for everyone along with other fun activities. Students received certificates and gifts for their participation and achievements throughout the year.

On Saturday, 6th September, we celebrated Piṭha utshab (পিঠা উৎসব) and welcomed spring along with indoor games at the Bangla school premises. There were various enjoyable games for different age groups of students. The event concluded with gift-giving to the students and sharing delicious food prepared by parents and teachers, making it a fun-filled day for all. 🙂

On May 3, 2025, the Bangla Language & Cultural School organised an excursion to the National Zoo & Aquarium in Canberra. Students enrolled in different levels attended the excursion and explored the zoo's various sections. Teachers and parents guided the students throughout the excursion, during which they identified animals' names in Bangla and explored their other characteristics. It was a fun-filled day for all.

On the last Saturday - 12th April 2025, students and teachers of the Bangla Language and Cultural School came together to celebrate Eid-ul-fitr reunion, Independence Day of Bangladesh and Bengali New Year 1432, marking a vibrant display of cultural heritage within the school premises. Students showcased their talents through Bangladesh themed art and craft works and also performed Bangla Eid songs and the National Anthem of Bangladesh. The event was made special with students receiving Eid goodies bags, accompanied by a bag and t-shirt featuring the Bangla school logo. The celebration concluded with a joyful sharing of food prepared by teachers and parents, fostering a sense of community and togetherness.

Last Saturday, our school celebrated International Mother Language Day with great enthusiasm. The event featured a vibrant program, where students performed the iconic Ekusher song in unison, as well as individual presentations of poems, songs, dance and storytelling in Bangla. Meanwhile, kids showcased their creativity through various art and craft works, all centered around the theme of Bangladesh. The celebration concluded on a sweet note, with students, teachers, and parents sharing snacks together.

On 16 November 2024, Bangla School hosted a year-end celebration at Crace Park, where students received certificates and gifts in recognition of their annual achievements, followed by a BBQ. The event was a delightful conclusion to the year, offering a chance for enjoyment and relaxation to all.
