Rosary Primary School, Watson

On Friday morning the whole school came together to enjoy the storytelling, comedy and musical stylings of Lucas Proudfoot. The students had lots of fun, and the show was an entertaining way to finish off National Reconciliation Week.

On 27th May, Years 3-6 enjoyed a live performance by the Bell Shakespeare Players. The Wonderful World of Will took us back to 1599 to meet Shakespeare himself and introduce some of his classic characters, language and word inventions.

It was wonderful to welcome families to our Book Borrowing Morning. Students had the opportunity to choose books and share their enthusiasm for reading with family members. The support of our families helps us to foster a love of reading.

On Tuesday, eight students from years 4, 5 and 6, competed in the School Rostrum Final. All speakers delivered high quality and engaging speeches and kept the entire audience captivated throughout. Congratulations to all who presented.

On Monday we hosted our annual Cross Country carnival. Thank you to the Rosary staff and all of our volunteers for making it such a successful event. Our students did us proud with their outstanding efforts on the course and a great time was had by all.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums, grandmothers, and mother figures in our community. We hope you’ve having a lovely day.
Also, a big thank you to the parents who helped run our Mother’s Day Stall on Friday. Your time and support are greatly appreciated.
