Hello CAECC Friends,

On tonight’s Mandarin Radio Program, we shared the legendary story of Chinese Valentine’s Day, also known as 牛郎织女 and 七夕节, which falls on the seventh day of the seventh month in the Lunar calendar. The seventh month is almost here, which also means the Moon Festival is not far away! 🌙

Together with CAECC alumni kids, Eureka and Colette, we performed the classic song Auld Lang Syne 《友谊地久天长》 to celebrate love and friendship. We also shared the beautiful poem 《相思》 by 王维 and explored a few Mandarin idioms about friendship and love:
• 白头偕老
• 志同道合
• 情深意重
• 情同手足
• 肝胆相照

We warmly encourage families to celebrate the beauty of Mandarin language with us. If you would like to contribute, please feel free to send in a song, story, or poem from your children or family. ❤️
