Donut Pizza for dad!! Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads, pops and father figures out there. We hope you all have a great day!

Get the kids busy with our delicious donut pizza recipe ⬇️

Donut Pizza Recipe

For the pizza dough
350m warm water
1 sachet (7g) dry yeast
3-4 cups (490g) plain flour
2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar

Preheat oven to 200oC

Making the Dough
Place the warm water in the large mixing bowl. Sprinkle the yeast over the warm water and let it stand for 5 minutes until the yeast is dissolved and frothy.

Add the flour, salt, sugar, and olive oil, and start working the ingredients together with your hands (this is so much more fun than using a mixer). Continue to mix until the dough starts coming together and your hands are no longer covered in dough.

Tip dough out onto a light floured bench and start kneading until dough is soft and slightly slickly. (If to wet just sprinkle a teaspoon of flour and try again.

Place dough back into the bowl. Cover and allow to rise for 10-15 minutes.

Prepare your favourite toppings while waiting for your dough.

Once dough has risen, remove from bowl and knead for another 2 minutes.

Divide dough into 6-8 equal pieces and form into a donut shape (don’t forget the hole in the middle). You can leave the dough again to rise if you like but if you’re to excited and can’t wait, just start your creations.

Top with either tomato paste or garlic and olive oil before adding your fav toppings.
Cook for 10-15 minutes or until golden, crunchy and all your cheese has melted.
