Fun day yesterday! Our marketing guru from CE came, along with a videographer, to shoot promotional videos so we can share how wonderful our school is. Coordinated by Mrs P, with lots of help from staff, parents & students, it was a very busy but productive day. It will take at least a couple of weeks to finalise the video but watch this space! ๐ŸŽฅ๐Ÿ˜€

Yesterday's Vinnie's Winter Appeal was a great day for a great cause! We wore our winter woolies and donated warm clothes to the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal. Cups of lovely warm hot chocolate, very much needed on a chilly morning, were available for a gold coin donation. Thank you everyone for your generosity! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Family and friends, our Year 4s have happily settled into camp life at Birrigai.

We began by acknowledging Ngunnawal Country and connecting with the stunning landscape through learning about the Gibraltar Rocks, as well as the ephemeral watercourse that has run directly below Birrigai for thousands of years.

Every student was given some of the water to drink and reflect on their own connection to the land. It was a powerful and meaningful way to begin our time together. ๐Ÿงก

So proud of our Year 6 students and their Rostrum speeches! Yesterday our six finalists performed their speeches in front of students from Years 4-6, staff and judges, Mr Johns ad Mrs Mance. It was a tough decision, all six speeches were exceptional, but in the end Shay G was awarded runner up and Alexis V was our winner for 2026. Alexis will proudly represent our school at the semi finals this July. We wish her all the best!
