Mrs Collis, our amazing Office Manager, received a very special birthday surprise today……. A marvellous rendition of happy birthday played by our Pipes (bagpipes) club. A special treat for a special lady.

Today we celebrated our staff fathers & father figures with a delicious shared lunch. We are blessed.

Book Week Assembly was a little different from our usual assemblies. First we checked out the books that received awards from the Children’s Book Council of Australia. Then we discovered who our mystery poem readers were. We were then treated to the very entertaining Teachers’ Play, ‘A Symphony of Stories’ written by our amazing Teacher Librarian, Jen Ferdinand. Our teachers, who were given the script only yesterday, rose to the occasion with drama and panache. It was so incredibly entertaining!
‘Poetry Slam’ is on Thursday. Watch this space!

Book Week is here and everyone is happy! This morning's book parade saw so many different costumes from students and staff, all celebrating books, stories and reading. Some (ie Mrs P) might call it the best day of the year 😀📚💜

Science Day was so much fun! With science themed dress ups, lots of experiments run by our amazing Year 6 leaders, and a fab interactive display of sciencey things by Mr Jenkins, it was a day of discovery and wonder. Huge thankyou to Mr Jenkins for coordinating the day and for not blowing up the school with his display!
