What a fantastic Playgroup morning today! We shared stories, created artwork, practised our fine motor skills and enjoyed sensory play with paint and toy cars. So many smiles, creativity, and lots of opportunities for learning 💕
Playgroup is on every Wednesday morning from 9am during the school term.

Exploring the future at UC! 🎓🚀

Our Year 10 students spent a fantastic day on campus at the University of Canberra, exploring the exciting pathways waiting for them after high school!

They jumped straight into hands-on university life, participating in interactive sessions across physiotherapy, chemistry, business studies, and law. It was an incredible day of Learning that gave our seniors a true taste of what their future could look like. 🔬⚖️💼

Our students brought a fantastic Positive Attitude to every workshop, showing great Respect for the UC professors and university student mentors. We love seeing our Year 10s think big and approach their next steps with such ambition!

Stepping back into Deep Time! 🏛️🌏

Our Year 7 students took a fascinating trip to the National Museum of Australia last week to bring their Humanities studies to life!

They dived deep into the concept of "Deep Time," exploring ancient history and the rich, enduring stories of our first nations. It was wonderful to see our youngest high schoolers demonstrating a Positive Attitude toward new ideas and a true passion for Learning outside the classroom. 🧠✨

Our students represented the school with immense Respect as they engaged with the exhibits and asked thoughtful questions. Fantastic job, Year 7!

Our Year 8 Maths students have been working incredibly hard mastering the world of statistics!

From collecting their own data to analyzing it using the mean, median, mode, and range, these students are unlocking how numbers shape our real-world situations. 🧠📈

It has been fantastic to see their Positive Attitude and persistence shine through as they tackle these complex concepts. By working collaboratively, they've shown amazing Respect for each other's ideas and a true commitment to their Learning.

Shakespeare comes to Namadgi! 🎭👑
Our Year 8, 9, and 10 students had a fantastic front-row seat to the classics last week with a brilliant live performance by the Bell Shakespeare Company!

The actors brought Macbeth to life right before our eyes, blending active Learning with incredible entertainment. The absolute highlight of the show? Seeing our brave students step up to join in as the spooky witches, and our very own Mr. Thomas making a royal cameo as King Duncan! 🧙‍♀️✨

Our students showed fantastic Respect as an audience, and their Positive Attitude and willingness to participate made it an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Bell Shakespeare, for inspiring our students and bringing world-class theatre to our school!

Our Year 8 scientists got hands-on this week with a fascinating heart dissection investigation!

Students dove deep into the circulatory system, identifying major chambers and blood vessels to see exactly how the heart works to pump blood around the body. It was fantastic to watch the classroom buzz with active Learning during this practical experience.

The teamwork, curiosity, and resilience on display were incredible. Every student approached the challenge with a Positive Attitude and showed immense Respect for the materials and their lab partners, leading to some truly thoughtful scientific discussions. 🤝✨
