HIPPY Belconnen is enrolling for 2022. We have 30 places for families in the Belconnen region who have a child starting Pre-School in 2022 and going on to Kindergarten in 2023. Spread the word.

HIPPY Belconnen is now enrolling!

If you know a family in the Belconnen region who has a child starting PRE SCHOOL in 2020 (Kindergarten in 2021), let them know about HIPPY.

A 2yr educational enrichment program to help children get an early love of learning and empower parents to be engaged in that learning.

You get:
A Home Tutor (who has done HIPPY) to support and guide you through the program.
45 activity booklets over the two years.
A HIPPY Box full of stationery.
Knowledge about children's development and learning.
Opportunities to come to parent groups with guest speakers and enrichment topics.

HIPPY Belconnen will be at the Belconnen Community Centre for a Celebrating Our Children event as it is Children's Week. The event goes from 10am - 12pm with many children's activities and a morning tea.

Applications closing today for January school holiday program

Dates for January
Week 1: 14-18 January 2019
Week 2: 21-25 January 2019

Program fee is $5.00 per day per child.

Program operates from 9am-3pm Monday to Friday.

Applications close 30 November.

TEENAGE GIFT DRIVE - Let's Give Everyone a Christmas

Can you help? Gift distribution starts on Monday the 10th of December (Yes, next Monday) and we are short 150 teen gift packages.

Each package costs $35. but you can donate all or a portion of this, everything counts towards giving someone a better Christmas. Details for donating can be found in the comments.

These Gift Packages include two movie tickets to use along with two vouchers for the ‘Snack Bar’. The young people who receive these are then able to join their friends, find some quiet time or treat a family member to an outing.
