This week, SHFPACT hosted the first Child S*xual Exploitation (CSE) Awareness Forum in the ACT.

The forum created an opportunity for professionals to come together, share knowledge, and strengthen our collective response to child s*xual exploitation through evidence-based practice and collaboration.

Thank you to our speakers, working group, attendees and partners who contributed their time, expertise and commitment to this important issue.

What a day! 🏳️‍🌈 SHFPACT was proud to host and lead the Safe and Inclusive Schools Student Leadership Day at Agnes Shea High School, in partnership with A Gender Agenda and the acteducation ACT Education

Bringing together pride groups from high schools across Canberra, the day featured incredible guest speakers including Professor Mary Lou Rasmussen and Jodie Griffiths-Cook, ACT Children and Young People Commissioner, alongside interactive workshops run by the amazing teams at SHFPACT and A Gender Agenda.

Thank you to everyone who ran workshops, spoke up, and showed up — most of all, to the students for their courage and pride. 💜

This program supports nurses undertaking training in Well Women's Screening, so at your appointment you'll be seen by a highly experienced SHFPACT nurse alongside a second registered nurse undertaking training in this area.
