Pyjama Week may be over, but the smiles and memories will last a whole lot longer! 💤💙

Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun, we loved seeing all the cosy PJs and sharing a week full of laughter, stories, and special moments. 🧸

As we wrap up NAIDOC Week, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on and celebrate the rich history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Throughout the week, our children have had the opportunity to learn, explore and engage in meaningful experiences that foster respect, understanding and appreciation for Australia’s First Nations cultures.

We are proud to continue embedding these values into our learning every day, because reconciliation and cultural understanding extend far beyond one week.

Building strong foundations for future readers📚

This year, our Preachool, Inventors and Creators Rooms will be participating in the Pre-Literacy Program, an evidence-based program designed to support children before school.

Through engaging, play-based experiences, children will develop essential early literacy skills, including phonological awareness and oral language development through structured book reading. These foundational skills help build confidence and prepare children for a successful transition to learning to read.

We are excited to support our young learners as they explore language, stories, sounds and communication in fun and meaningful ways.

At Sage, our Bush Kinder program is a valued part of our Preschool curriculum 🌿

Running in Autumn and again in Spring, children enjoy six weeks of exciting outdoor excursions to a local nature site learning beyond the classroom every step of the way. 🍂

Bush Kinder gives children the opportunity to explore nature, build meaningful connections with their peers, and develop independence whether it’s hopping on the bus, carrying their own backpack, or enjoying lunch in the fresh air.
