Communities at Work's Galilee School seeks to inspire young people to realise their full potential by developing and utilising their unique talents and capabilities; by aiding students to find a sense of purpose and value in themselves as productive and worthwhile members of our community. As the only Special Assistance School in the Canberra region, we provide training, skill development and job-ready support for students transitioning to the workforce or to further educational opportunities. Our philosophy is learner-centred, strengths-based, relationship-driven, and restorative. We teach students in Years 7-12.

Term 2 Topic: The Law
We’re welcoming the Legal Aid Team Canberra to share important information every family should know, including:
• Employment
• Drug and alcohol
• Family & personal violence
• Police powers

Parents and carers: Join us for coffee and conversation on Tuesday mornings with Bridget, our Community and Wellbeing Officer, at Cafe Blanco in Kambah. It's a great chance to meet others in a friendly, casual setting and learn more about Galilee School and how it can help your young person.
