Did you know that you can get a lot of mileage out of just one maths problem?
Last week, Michaela Epstein of Maths Teacher Circles shared '5 Strategies for Varying a Problem' on her blog. We're proud to have our 'Cubes in the box' Problemo problem featured! This problem began its life as question 15 on the Middle Primary paper of the Australian Mathematics Competition, way back in 2007.

A fantastic Sydney Alumni Event this weekend! 🎉
Sydney-based AMT Olympiad alumni came together to brainstorm and design new problems for AMT competitions, before catching up over dinner afterwards. It was great to see a mix of familiar faces alongside plenty of new ones. For more info head here: https://amt.edu.au/alumni-network
A big thank you to everyone who attended—and to Andy Tran for organising! Stay tuned for more events coming soon 👀
