ππ World Environment Day 2026 ππ
Today, our children celebrated World Environment Day through engaging, hands-on experiences that encouraged them to care for our planet. From water conservation experience and sensory nature play to Earth-themed art, recycling, environmental clean-ups, and exploring the impact of pollution on our beaches, children learned how their actions can help protect the environment.
Through play, discussion, and exploration, children developed an understanding of sustainability, teamwork, and responsibility while showing respect for the natural world around them.
These meaningful experiences align with the EYLF Outcome 2: Children are connected with and contribute to their world, supporting children to become active participants in caring for the environment and their community.
π± Together, we are nurturing future environmental stewards, one small action at a time. β»οΈπ

π°πΈ Easter Celebrations at Our Centre! πΈπ°
We are excited to share the Easter fun happening at our centre!
From 23rd March to Thursday 2nd April, bunny rabbits have been visiting our reception area for children and families to gently view and pet. They are cared for by our Preschool educator, who has a passion for animals.
Our two visitors, Trixie (1 year old) and Alfie (2 years old), are fully vaccinated and up to date with vet checks. Initially, the bunnies were handled by the educator, and once settled, they have been visiting preschool rooms for small, planned interactions. π
Our reception area has also been beautifully decorated for Easter π·
Children and families are also invited to our Easter Hat Parade on Thursday 2nd April at 3:30pm. Families are encouraged to create hats at home and bring them in for the parade, followed by an Easter egg hunt, fun activities, and nibbles in reception. π©π₯
Children and families have been enjoying this special time, and we look forward to seeing many at the parade!

Children participated in a moon-themed decoration craft, designing and decorating their own moons using a variety of materials. This hands-on experience allowed them to express creativity and imagination while engaging in meaningful play.
