Online Biography Gathering - Thu 15th to Sun 18th June 2023.
I just finished the poster for our Online Biography Gathering. Now I am looking to forward to meet colleagues, students and people who share an interest in our work.
We are planning to have simultaneous interpretation into Mandarin and breakout rooms for learning groups in English and Mandarin.
There will be an "Adjunct Gathering" organised by Japanese colleagues who will use the main contributions but create their own schedule and learning groups.
We are open for more "Adjunct Gatherings" in other languages, which will depend on the initiative of local colleagues, students or friends.

Since I was 9 years old, I attempted to read all the books in the public libraries accessible to me. Managing quite a chunk, I got particularly interested in Science Fiction and Fantasy, with Ursula K. Le Guin, Marion Zimmer Bradley and Orson Scott Card being my favourite authors. I especially resonated with "The Dispossessed" by Ursula K Le Guin, "Speaker for the Death" by Orson Scott Card and "Web of Light" by Marion Zimmer Bradley.
