Just a friendly reminder that when asked if we’re ok, we don’t have to say “yes”. In fact it is completely fine to not be ok, to be struggling and to say that. Reaching out is so very important and something we encourage you all to do. Caring for your mental health is just as important as your physical health. If you need to talk, reach out to family, friends, your SR or a medical professional.
Take care of yourselves xo

Just a friendly reminder to please check into Kinloch when you come back from exercise, work or shopping. Given the recent exposure site in the Kinloch laundry it’s so important we take all the health measures necessary.
Thankyou for keeping our community safe 🤍

If you have not yet been vaccinated and are looking to get Pfizer you are now able to register your interest with ACT Health.
Let’s all lend an arm and help keep our keep our community safe! 💉❤️‍🩹

If you’re aged 16-29, you can now register your interest for a Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination at an ACT Government clinic 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

Register by:
📱 signing up for MyDHR at www.mydhr.act.gov.au and answering the eligibility question (you’ll need to have a current Medicare card that matches an existing patient record in the ACT public health system). Once you've signed up, you’ll be sent a notification when appointments become available. This will be when our supply of Pfizer vaccine increases.

📞 If you’re unable to register online, call our COVID-19 booking line on 5124 7700 (7am to 7pm, daily). Use the call back system to save waiting on the line.

Thank you to everyone who has booked in to get vaccinated. We’re so proud of Canberra’s great results and your spirit in keeping each other safe ❤️

Please note, registrations are only available for ACT Government COVID-19 vaccination clinics, not GPs or pharmacies.

📣 Updated travel advice 📣

🏠 New stay-at-home requirement 🏠
We are bringing in a stay-at-home requirement for anyone who has been in any of the following LGAs of Queensland on or after 21 July 2021:
• City of Brisbane
• Moreton Bay Region
• City of Gold Coast
• City of Ipswich
• Lockyer Valley Regional Council
• Logan City
• Noosa Shire Council
• Redland City
• Scenic Rim Regional Council
• Somerset Regional Council
• Sunshine Coast Regional Council

The stay-at-home requirement will remain in place until at least 11:59pm Tuesday 3 August.

The reason for backdating the stay-at-home requirement to 21 July is due to the high transmissibility of the delta strain, the potential for several undetected chains of transmission in South East Queensland and an anticipated large number of exposure locations.

If you’re an ACT resident and have been in these LGAs on or after 21 July, you must:
• Complete the online declaration form.
• Travel directly to the residence where you will spend the stay-at-home period and only leave for an approved essential purpose.
• Monitor for COVID-19 symptoms for 14 days since you were last in the area.

If you’re a non-ACT resident and have been in one of these LGAs on or after 21 July, you must not travel to the ACT unless you have an approved exemption. Exemptions will only be granted for extraordinary circumstances, and even if an exemption is approved, you will still be required to follow the stay-at-home requirement in the ACT.

If you are already in the ACT and you are affected by these restrictions, you should complete the declaration form regardless of whether you have previously completed the form.

Please note, the exemption and declaration forms will be available on the ACT COVID-19 website from 7pm today.

🧳 Reconsider travel outside the ACT region 🧳
All Canberrans should minimise interstate travel at this time and be prepared to reconsider their plans at short notice. Canberrans should not be travelling to any areas subject to quarantine or a stay-at-home requirement.

We are continuing to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation in other jurisdictions and will put in place further directions if required in order to keep Canberra safe.
