A little experiment to see if there’s an actual difference in taste between the Woolworths own brand lager and draught. Both put down on the same day, kept under exactly the same conditions and both bottled this morning. Both the same SG & FG. Brings them to 4.2% ABV.
Taste test in about a month.

Chilli ale is bottled and conditioning in the room that should be the room that I use to work from home…..but it’s now full of beer bottles conditioning their contents….which is how it should be for those of us with a smaller house and….. aww FFS I don’t work from home anymore so what the heck!

We’ve had a busy morning in the micro brewery laboratory. (Kitchen)
Bottled the Woolies Rice lager and the Woolies Mango Pash.
Made some jerky over the last few days so it’ll be the perfect accompaniment while we try the Canadian Blonde we bottled a couple of weeks ago.

Just because we can we’re doing a Japanese inspired rice syrup lager using Woolies ingredients. Sort of like Asahi, except much darker.
May call it Senjutsu Lager.

To celebrate the arrival of our personalised coasters we’ve decided to go down the rabbit hole of extract brewing.
Let’s try the Woolies brand cheap arse lager turned into a mango pash lager.
Should end up about 7% by only doing 13 litres so it’ll be stronger than the new VB.
Let the fun begin.
