🎉Delighted to share that I am now a "Vocal Health First Aider".🎉

What is a "Vocal Health First Aider" you ask? :)

A Certified Professional who:

1. Has an understanding of vocal health and the factors that can affect vocal wellbeing.

2. Practical skills to spot the signs of a range of vocal dysfunction and imbalance.

3. Knowledge to help someone towards recovery by:
Guiding them in self-management, or
Passing them on to further support, whether that is specialist vocal rehabilitation coaching or clinical treatment

4. An understanding of how to prevent vocal health issues from occurring in the workplace.

“Protect the wobble” 🫶🏻

Our SOVT exercises like lip trills, puffy fish and blowing bubbles in water all help with this as they create balanced air pressure where the chords can do their “wobbly ripple” happily!
Tight chords = tight sound = tight muscles = unhappy singer 🤪
