차세대 한국학자 초청 연구지원(AKS Graduate Fellowship)은 해외 교육 기관에서 한국학 관련 연구를 진행하는 외국인 및 재외국민 석․박사 과정 학생을 초청하여 6개월간 교육․연구 활동을 지원하는 한국학대학원의 비학위과정 프로그램입니다. 2020. 9. 1. ~ 2021. 2. 28. 기간 동안 지원받을 대상자를 다음과 같이 모집하오니 관심있는 분들의 많은 신청 바랍니다.
The AKS Graduate Fellowship is GSKS’ non-degree program which invites international graduate students to the AKS and supports them for six months, providing them with a momentum to grow to be a next generation of promising scholars in Korean studies. AKS Graduate Fellows for the period from 1st September 2020 to 28th February 2021 are now being sought. Those who aspire to widen and deepen their knowledge of Korea by conducting research at GSKS are very welcome to apply.

Tuition fee would be waived for meritorious Nalanda pioneers in history. At Nalanda you will learn about the ideological threads that bind Asia as a cohesive entity and you can also write your dissertation on some aspect of Korean history.

Korean train system displayed better sense of order and discipline in 1951 during the crisis years of the Korean War than Indian train system which burst to seams a couple of years ago during a Hindu religious festival. Seoul ranks sixth in the world's best transportation system and its user-friendly integrated metro-bus system and almost ubiquitous Wi-Fi access are some of the finest achievements of Korea.
La Duy Tan and Justyna whom I liked a lot because of their diligence and dedication to Korean studies, left AKS this semester. I am sorry that the Faculty of International Korean Studies does not have PhD program and I was not able to nurture their ability and creativity during their PhD studies. All my teachers were kind and caring people, and I always try to follow their foot-prints. I was indeed very lucky in my student life, because my teachers were kind mentors and never cynical tormentors.
