Being involved in research can change the way you see your strengths. You can grow leadership skills in meetings, learn how to plan tasks with a team and gain clear examples for your CV.

Speaking up becomes easier when you feel heard, and that lift in confidence often supports your wellbeing beyond the project. Meeting a mix of people helps you learn from different viewpoints and challenge old ideas that do not fit real life.

Working with young people grows professional development through real collaboration and reflection.

Teams build decision making, leadership, communication and planning skills while deepening knowledge of youth issues and what genuine participation looks like.

Research quality improves when ethics and rigour are strengthened and avoidable bias is reduced. Study design becomes clearer at every stage, from recruitment to data collection, data analysis and dissemination.

Listening well and sharing power leads to research that is safer, fairer and more useful for the communities it aims to serve. 📝📊
