Crazy me spreading sawdust! Super machine this golf cart, just climbed over every pile and in no time was spread. Ready for Monday!! almost ran a horse over and a few poles but all good.

A super first trail ride out for these two this week! Both students and horses were confident, calm and beautifully ridden. 🐴💕

Another successful trail ride ticked off for Archie and Zeb, who are both new to McGahey Equestrian and are learning to confidently trail ride in a group. What a great ride! 🌿🐎

At just 6 and 7 these 2 cuties had there first group lesson together today where they were rising trot and balancing on lunge with no stirrups and no hands! They have control in walk, can navigate obsticals, bridges and bending poles, stop, go and turn, shorten reins correctly and make a horse back up. I am always blown away by how quickly kids learn and these two are going to be fun to watch over the next few months. So impressed.

Your childs safety is my number one. Our arena riding vests are in place, all children close to or cantering must wear a vest for lessons, please get your child to grab one and learn what size fits snug. These are light weight so not to restrict learning but offer some protection incase of a fall. We will continue to improve our surfaces to also be softer for both riders and horses.
