As an extension on Kookaburras learning about caring for animals last month, this month the children are looking at emotions in different ways, how the feel and what they can do to express these emotions. The children have been learning “rainbow and dragon” breathing techniques. To extend on our breathing techniques Miss Kasey and the children used recycled paper towel holders to make a fire breathing tunnel. The kookaburras tested them out taking a deep breath in before breathing out like a dragon through our paper towel holder and watching the red, orange and white create paper flutter!! 🐉 😃 😢 😤

Today the Kookaburras competed in their very own mini olympics!! They did an amazing job showing off their fantastic gross motor skills as they ran through the obstacle course! Well done to the top three winners! 🏃🏼🏃🏻‍♀️🎉🏅
