A Little Creative

It’s World Environment Day this Friday - so all week we are making some painted and collaged environments, drawing and paiting our favourite animals and plants… and today we did a large collaborative landscape full of textures, fabrics, plants and animals with the the kindy-kids! So much fun… we’ll be taking this theme out and about on Friday night when we pop up at the too!!

Go Spencer!
Generally Spencer loves drawing, just on A4 sized paper, and he hates to paint. I ‘push’, encourage and coerce him to try other mediums, usually to no avail.
But recently he is loving our water soluble oil pastels - which means you DRAW with them, as he loves to do, and then just with water and a brush you can then paint on them to blend.. Spencer’s been doing some mini paintings in this style - then today shocked us all by selecting none of the largest canvases we have in store!! - still a work in progress, but he is doing awesome! 🤩 😍 🎨 🖌️🖼️

Toddler Tuesday is ON tomorrow 10am at our studio! Reminder to our regulars booked in at caloundra Regional Gallery that it is not running there this week due to their new exhibition installation happening - but will be back in next week. So any term-time that its not running at the gallery it is on at our studio, also every Thursday morning too! Just $15 per little artist to enjoy playdough, painting and craft. BEE there or BEE square!! 😉 🐝 🖤💛🖤

Horizon Hangout is your Festival basecamp this Horizon Festival!

From 9am–3pm, Monday 4 to Thursday 7, it’s your place to slow down, connect and stay a while.
