At the heart of our community kindergarten is something truly special — our incredible volunteers 💛

From helping at events and working bees to sharing skills, lending a hand around Kindy, our families and special volunteers play such an important role.

Volunteering is more than just giving time — it’s about building connections, creating memories, and showing our children the value of community, kindness, and teamwork. Every contribution, big or small, helps our kindergarten thrive.

We are so grateful for the support, care, and generosity of our amazing kindy community. Together, we create a place where children feel supported, families feel connected, and everyone belongs 🌿✨

An extra special shout out to our weekly volunteers, our VIP Moving Moments group, Vicki, Haylee, Tish and our Kindy Management Committee💚

What an exciting week we’ve had at Kindy with our Wildlife Incursion! 🦎🐍🦉

The children had an amazing hands-on learning experience meeting a variety of animals and learning all about their habitats, features, and how we can care for wildlife in our environment. There were plenty of smiles, curious questions, and brave moments as the children had the opportunity to get up close with some incredible creatures!

Experiences like these help spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage a love and respect for the natural world. We loved seeing the children so engaged and excited throughout the visit.

A big thank you to our Geckoes Wildlife presenter Kirsten for such a fun and educational experience! 🐢💚

What a beautiful week we shared at Kindy celebrating all the wonderful Mums, Grandmothers, and special people in our children’s lives for Mother’s Day 🥰

Our Kindy families enjoyed a relaxed morning together filled with smiles, connection, creativity, and special moments with the children. From cups of tea with fairy bread, nail & portrait painting to creating flower pots, bracelets and most of all... memories ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the mornings so special. We hope you all have a very happy Mother’s Day this weekend 💐

We held 2 of our most colourful days at Kindy last week 🌈
Our Red and Yellow Groups held their first fundraising activity for the year - our Colour Fun Runs which amazingly raised a whopping $5350 for our little community Kindy!

We are so grateful for all the support of our families but a big shout is also needed to Galactic Donuts Caloundra, Domino's Pizza Caloundra and Zarraffa's Coffee Caloundra for supporting us with our prizes, your continued support means the world to us!

At our Kindy, one of the most special parts of our week is our Intergeneration Group who attend on Tuesdays on a Red Group day ❤

There is something truly magical about watching our children connect with older generations, sitting side by side with our special guests, you can see the joy, curiosity, and warmth shared between them. These moments are not just visits — they are meaningful relationships growing in real time.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful local QCWA Caloundra Branch for their generous donation of books to our community kindergarten.

Your kindness and ongoing support make such a meaningful difference to our little learners. These beautiful new books will help spark imagination, nurture a love of reading, and support early literacy development in our children. There is nothing quite like the joy on a child’s face when they open a new book, and thanks to you, we’ll be seeing plenty of those smiles.

We are so grateful for your continued commitment to supporting local families and early childhood education. Our community is stronger because of organisations like the QCWA, and we truly appreciate everything you do.

Thank you again for your generosity and care. 💛

Over the Christmas holidays our sandpit received a much needed clean out! A digger came in to dig out all the old sand and to see if it really did go down as far as the centre of the earth (as the kids would like to imagine!).

Sadly, no dinosaur bones were found but the depth and structure of the sandpit surprised us all and it was great to watch as the fresh sand was poured in ready for our 2026 Kindy year to commence!
