Growing hearts and minds 🌱
This term, students in Mrs Brooker’s class have been exploring the Fruit of the Spirit through creative lessons with our College Counsellor, Fi Cran.
Students have been learning about love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control and building important life skills along the way.
We love seeing students grow in both learning and character.

The heart of a school is not found in one moment. It is found in hundreds of moments woven together every day.
In classrooms and playgrounds. In music rooms and assemblies. In conversations, friendships, challenges, discoveries and moments of growth.
At CalCC, community is something we build together — creating spaces where students are known, encouraged and prepared for the future.

Our next P&F Meeting is coming up on Thursday 11 June.
P&F is a wonderful way to connect with other families, support our College community and help shape opportunities for our students.
We would love to see you there.

Secondary Junction
What a fantastic morning together at Junction! Students enjoyed games, a praise party, and an inspiring message from our guest speaker centered on Revelation 12:11: "They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony..."
We were reminded of the power of sharing our stories. Every testimony is a declaration of God's faithfulness and a reminder of the victory won through the cross. As we continue to tell of what God is doing in our lives, we keep proclaiming His goodness and truth.
A special shout-out to our incredible Secondary Creative Team, who led us in worship through music and song. Thank you for using your gifts to create an atmosphere of praise and worship.

At CalCC, student wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Through our Wellbeing Hub, students have a safe place to seek guidance, encouragement, prayer, and a listening ear whenever they need it.
This National Chaplaincy Week, we want to celebrate and thank our incredible Chappies, Linda and Aiden. Your care, compassion, wisdom and genuine love for our students make a lasting difference every day.
We love you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you.

Monkey bars. Big laughs. Playground adventures.
Play is where confidence grows, friendships deepen and children discover what they are capable of.
At CalCC, we believe childhood should include plenty of space to move, explore and simply be kids.

Learning looks a little different when we take it outside! ☀️
Prep students have been building literacy and numeracy skills through movement-based learning activities, using their bodies to practise tricky words, number recognition and counting in fun, hands-on ways.
By combining movement with learning, students strengthen confidence, engagement and understanding — all while having plenty of fun along the way.
