Caloundra Lapidary Club Inc. is a social not for profit organization. Lapidary is the art of cutting and polishing gems and minerals often for jewelry or display. We have a wealth of collective knowledge concerning this topic. We love to pass this knowledge on to all age groups so feel free to come down for a chat or advice. Our on-site museum is available to schools and public at no cost(it is ad

visable that large groups call prior to arrival and organise a suitable time). Our museum houses a magnificent collection of mineral specimens, gemstones and fossils.with a wide variety on sale. Why not finish up your visit to the museum and browse the spectacular jewellery for sale, hand crafted by our members. Sessions available to our members include: cutting and polishing stones, faceting gemstones, silversmithing and on occasion enamelling, wire wrapping, bone carving and collecting fossils and minerals. Come down for a look. you can find our opening hours above and also on our website. Don't forget to wear closed in footwear so you can access all areas. Every second and last Saturday of the month our hours are extended from 9am - 3:30pm
