Hey guys, just a message from the Batyr program coordinators:

Calling all UoN Nutrition and Dietetics students!! We have a batyr mental health and wellbeing program booked just for you! This event will be held on 28th July from 4 to 5pm. You can attend in person at Callaghan campus or via zoom.

Once registered, you will receive an email confirming the room location/ zoom link closer to the date.

In case you didn't know, batyr is a preventative youth mental health organisation driven by young people and for young people. We aim to smash stigma around mental health and empower young people to reach out for help when they need it, through challenging times in university, and into future career.

The 4th year N&D students have reached out to see if anyone is interested in ordering Dietetics jumpers through the uniform shop.

The price will be cheaper the more jumpers are ordered, and they have already had interest from some students.

Hey Guys,

We've have been invited, as allied health students, to participate in a research project being conducted by a group of 4th year Joint Medical Program students.

The research is on the explicit and implicit weight bias and stigma among medical and allied health students at the University of Newcastle and the University of New England

Students who agree to participate will be asked to complete two (2) brief online surveys and are eligible to enter a draw for 5 incentive prizes.
