What an incredible weekend!

Our centenary celebrations were such a success, and it simply would not have been possible without the dedication, hard work, and passion of our P&C team. Every meeting, every idea, every hour spent planning and preparing has paid off in creating memories our school community will treasure for the next 100 years.

Thank you for your teamwork, your creativity, and the countless “behind the scenes” efforts that often go unnoticed but made all the difference. I am so proud to work alongside such a supportive and committed group of people.

Together, we honoured our past, celebrated our present, and set the tone for an exciting future. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to share this milestone with.

A huge thank you also to the staff and helpers over the weekend. We absolutely could not have pulled this off without your dedication to the school, so thank you so much.

To all the parents who baked for our morning and afternoon tea, or those who donated cent sale prizes, THANK YOU!

To our sponsors, thank you. Being a small school, even the hiring of something as simple as a jumping castle is a huge cost to us, and without your support, we couldn't afford to have.

Im certainly sitting here tonight, feeling very proud of what we achieved but equally grateful that an event like this, only comes around once every 100 years 😅

I truly hoped you all had a really special time. Looking through the amazing memorabilia display in the library, catching up with old friends or making new ones, or winning some great prizes at our cent sale.

Today we kick start our celebrations with our school tour and Cocktail Dinner (now both sold out 💕)

Saturday from 10am we will have the kids entertainment happening with facepaint, balloon twisting, glitter tattoos and obstacle jumping castles.

The BBQ will be fired up cooking you yummy steak burgers and sausages and cold softdrink to wash it all down.

For the little and big kids, we have popcorn, fairyfloss, slushies, smarties, sour straps and packets of chips.

Feel like a hot coffee and a scone? We have you covered too!

Our library is set up with the most incredible display of photos, items, letters and clothing abd so much more for you to browse through.

We have memorabilia available for purchase. A beautiful big umbrella, a stubby cooler to keep your drink cool and a key ring to pop your keys on. There is also a book called 'Classrooms in the Canefields' with all our amazing history in it.

At 12pm, our formalities will start with guest speakers, time capsule and cutting of the cake.

At 1pm, we will move into our Cent sale with some fantastic prizes to be won, a raffle, lucky door prize and afternoon tea.

Cash on the day is absolutely preferred but there are limited eftpos facilities available.

The oval will be open for parking so please park on there if you can. Entry is off the Bruce Highway so please be careful when entering and leaving.

The weather looks to be perfect and we cant wait to welcome you to our centenary celebrations ❤️
