Thereโs been plenty happening across Carinya Tamworth this week, with students experimenting, creating, practising and learning in all kinds of ways.
Science Week brought plenty of action, including rockets, seed bombs and more, while Year 2 Red got busy building marble runs and Year 3 headed out on excursion. Around the Junior School, students have also enjoyed giant bubbles, handball and time reading in the library.
Our Prep students have been working with Year 10 in Leatherwork to create special Fatherโs Day gifts, a lovely example of older and younger students learning alongside one another.
In Senior School, Year 10 Food Technology students completed an assessment task, Year 9 Agriculture put their sheep-handling skills to the test, and our Show Cattle Team continued preparing for the Tamworth Show in the coming weeks.
Year 12 Geography students have continued exploring Godโs world through their learning, while students also took part in Melinda Tankard Reistโs sessions on recognising red and green flags in relationships and thinking carefully about healthy, respectful connections.
From rockets and marble runs to livestock, leatherwork and Geography, weโre thankful for the many ways students are encouraged to observe carefully, learn faithfully and use their growing knowledge and skills with wisdom.
