When a strong support network comes together, anything is possible! 🤘

We recently had the privilege of being part of an incredible initiative supporting young people from the Atherton Tablelands community.

Massive thanks to VPG - Vocational Partnerships Group for leading the way and doing the heavy lifting to make it all happen. Let's also not forget Better Together Community Support who also played a pivotal role in the background to make this happen! Both organisations are truly amazing for what they do in support of The Tablelands community and deserve all the success!

We’re truly grateful for the warm welcome from the young people and the opportunity to connect, share, and grow together as a community.

Exciting News for Tablelands Young People!

VPG, in partnership with Alcohol and Drug Foundation, Tablelands Regional Council, ECHO, and Better Together Community Support, is launching Tablelands Youth Energy - bringing together 12-17 year olds to connect, find a sense of belonging and discover purpose through skating, street art, and fitness.

First up: Groms Skate Coaching @ Atherton Skate Park✨

This isn’t just about tricks and flips – it’s a chance to chat, hang out, and level up your skate game with the pros from Groms Skate Coaching. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this is the place to be.

Hey Groms Family!

Guess what? We've been having an absolute blast in Mareeba with Groms Skate Coaching's Stomping Grounds program! It's been non-stop fun, laughter and progress on our skateboards thanks to Mareeba Shire Council headspace Cairns and UrbanWheelz . Not only have we been learning some new killer tricks, but we're also getting the added bonus of staying active and healthy in the fresh air.

There's something special about the thrill of landing a new trick or nailing a move you've been practicing for ages. It's all about pushing ourselves to be the best we can be, and that's what makes this program so great.

I want to give a huge shoutout and thanks to for hooking these awesome skaters up with new boards! As a skateboarding coach, I know how important it is to have the right gear to keep shredding and pushing yourself. is all about supporting young people and keeping the stoke alive - I love it!
