Here's a sneak peek at what has been happening behind the scenes of CAFNEC's MangroveWatch Program!

We're currently reviewing our mangrove monitoring equipment to see how we can streamline monitoring and make the equipment more accessible for volunteers and partners. As technology continues to evolve, it's important that we regularly assess new tools to ensure our monitoring remains effective, efficient, and sustainable into the future.

The next step is for Lucan and Jock from Earthwatch Australia to review the trial footage and determine whether the new equipment is fit for purpose. If it meets our needs, we'll begin rolling it out across the program, so watch this space!
