Tobias contracted Meningococcal Septicemia at 4.5 months old. He survived, became an amputee, and continues to defy the odds.
His journey is a testament to resilience, family, community, and the will to thrive against all challenges thrown his way.

We recently got Tobias a Shnuggle Toddler Bath.
Of course we didn't test it out at home first 🙊
The beach was too good not to visit on the weekend for a big family day out, and this was the perfect safe play space for Tobias to rinse the salt water off and play with some toys!
Still yet to be tested out at home for bath time 😂🎉
This is just some of the fun we have. Even if it's scary for Herbie haha
As fun as it looks, this will also be a good part of Tobias' lessons to know how fast things can happen, and not everyone can be there all the time for him. So building skills in his lessons is so important even if it looks like play at the same time.

We have just finished a week's staycay at Ronald McDonald House -North Australia Palm Cove Retreat!
What a treat it was!
Being local we still had school/work commitments 🙊 but the downtime we could share as a family was creating these new memories we cherish so dearly!

This is Tobias' world, we are just living in it 🙊

We go all out for birthdays in this household 🎉
You never know what life will throw at you. Every day should be treated as special, but birthdays should be celebrated heavily!
That one day a year that is just yours, you made it, and you have to celebrate that!
We had so many beautiful people help make this party amazing and we can't thank you all enough!
Although, Tobias slept for half the party even with the noise! Hahaha
A big change for us!
We moved house! We thankfully secured something quite quickly with a new real-estate. It was a hard goodbye to our old one, but it's been a good move!
More rooms, less outside space, but a great community for the big kids close to school and friends, the cats love the extra space to run around, mum enjoys the sunrises over the hill, we are back where dad grew up and the place we feel most at home.
It is still not accessible enough for me to move into a wheelchair, but that will come in good time.
For now, we are secure, we are housed, we are together ❤️

School holidays from Easter were MASSIVE and I think we are still recovering 😂
